When introverted elementary schoolteacher Dorothy Gale finds herself transported to a dystopian Oz after a magical whirlwind sweeps through a Thanksgiving dinner, she must follow the yellow brick road to find the Wiz and return home, but along the way, she discovers that her friends - a scarecrow, tin man, and cowardly lion - already possess what they seek: a brain, heart, and courage.
