When a proud Franco-Arabic patriarch, Slimane Beiji, is forced out of work and decides to leave a legacy for his family by opening a restaurant, he must navigate bureaucratic red tape, family tensions, and a catastrophic food shortage on the night of the restaurant's grand gala, all while confronting the changing values and traditions of his beloved community.
