When a veteran war photographer, Lee Smith, is tasked to document the impending capture of an embattled U.S. president in Washington, D.C., she joins forces with her journalist colleague, Joel, and a young aspiring photojournalist, Jessie Cullen, who finds herself increasingly desensitized to violence as they navigate the chaotic landscape of civil war.
